Include optional Smart Fields as part of a Smart Template’s output file name

When editing a Smart Template, Admins and Designers can now include optional Smart Fields (ex. Pursuit Title) as part of the output file name. This provides your organization with more flexibility in establishing naming conventions without making a Smart Field required. This configuration can be done within the Design Settings.

Configure plain or rich text outputs on AI Smart Fields

You can now decide how AI Text Smart Fields are inserted into your documents:

  • Plain Text: Follows your template’s formatting
  • Rich Text: Follows the AI’s formatting output

This option is set when creating or editing an AI Text Smart Field — making it easy to align with your branding and document design.

Assign a Pursuit Owner when creating a Pursuit

When creating a Pursuit, there is a new option to assign the Pursuit’s Owner. Previously, Pursuits were automatically assigned to the person who created it. The Pursuit’s Owner Name field is now editable at creation, ensuring the correct person is listed as the responsible owner from the start. This setting is useful for people who create Pursuits on behalf of others.

New pop-up notice to Admins when changing Search Type

Changing the Search Type of a Content Source may impact the search results for existing Campaigns and favorited searches related to that library. The new pop-up notice informs Admins when they are changing the Search Type of a Content Source and will impact those existing Campaigns and favorites. The pop-up informs how many Campaigns or favorite searches will be affected, along with links to relevant documentation.

New Smart Search availability for natural language queries

Smart Search, a new search method, is designed to enable natural language queries within your content. Smart Search extends search capabilities beyond traditional keyword matches to enable contextual and intuitive content discovery.

When Smart Search is enabled on a Content Library, you will see:

  • An orange sparkle icon  to identify that Smart Search is activated
  • Filter availability for content metadata, file type, and last modified date
  • Highlighted text (ex. An RFP question) populates in the search bar
  • Searches return an AI-generated response via QPilot along with relevant content (must have a QPilot subscription)

Accounts with a QPilot subscription will see an AI-generated response to their Smart Search before the list of content results.

New ‘Search Type’ admin setting on Content Libraries

A new ‘Search Type’ setting is available on SharePoint-connected Content Libraries. Admins can now choose the preferred search method – Keyword or Smart Search – for each individual Content Library.

Important admin change management on existing and new Content Libraries

Smart Search will now be the default search method for all newly created Content Libraries. Existing Content Library settings may be updated to Keyword or Smart Search at any time by a Hub Admin.

To update these settings, navigate to Manage > Content Sources and select ‘edit’ for any library. This setting is available under ‘advanced options’.

Enhanced activity logging for content usage via QorusDocs OData

Expanded reporting and content usage tracking now provide content managers with a holistic view of how content is used throughout the pursuit lifecycle. Selected records within a Smart List will now be captured and included in reporting. Additionally, content utilized (inserted or created) via Static or Dynamic Smart Fields will now be tracked, ensuring this content usage is reflected in reporting.

These enhancements will be immediately available in QorusDocs OData, and a revised Power BI report template will follow this quarter, Q3 2025.
