1. Power BI Reporting Enhancements

We have updated our Power BI report template to simplify and enhance our reporting around Assignments, Design activity, Pursuits, and Currency Reporting.

Please download the latest copy of our Power BI report template here, and follow the step-by-step instructions on this page to log in with your Odata credentials.

For Assignments:

• We’ve centralized the most important Assignment Detail reporting into one dashboard

It’s now easier to keep track of your Assignments, as you can see which Assignments are marked as Assigned, Rejected, or Done from the following vantage points:

Over Time
By Pursuit Type
By Pursuit
By Assignee

We’ve added several additional filters you can use to instantly see a snapshot of your assignments by:

Owner
Pursuit Type
Pursuit
Assignment Status
Assignment Type
Assignee

We now include all the following details in assignment Power BI reports:

Last Comment with the ability to drill through to see All Comments (Right click an assignment and choose the drill through option)
Created Date & Time
All Assignees
Required
Active
Pursuit Title
Location

For Design Activity:

It’s now easier to keep track of what Smart Fields and Rules a designer has inserted into content, and this can now be done from the following vantage points:

Design Activities over Time
Smart Fields Inserted
Smart Rules Inserted
Activities by User

We’ve added several additional filters you can use to instantly see a snapshot of your Design activity by:

Designer
Activity
Smart Field Type
Smart Field Name
File Name
File Type

Plus, we’ve added the following details to the Design activity grid for more in-depth reporting:

Designer
Activity
File Extension
File Location

For Deleted Pursuits and Currency Reporting:

The following enhancements have been made to the Power BI report:

On the ‘Pursuit Activities 1/2’ page, you can now see and keep track of deleted Pursuits:

On the ‘Pursuit Details’ page, you can now choose your preferred currency for ‘Pursuit Value’. This updates both the ‘Pursuit Status’ and ‘Pursuit Owner’ pages accordingly:

2. Usability Enhancements

As we strive to continuously improve upon your experience, we want to make the messaging that you see in your QorusDocs UI more useful and intuitive. To this end, we’ve introduced better messaging for the following:

In the unfortunate event that you click on ‘create’ to create a new document and it fails, you will now be able to see more information about the cause of the failure

We now do a better job of guiding users to select a place to search first, and then type a search term in the search box, and for those working in the QorusDocs Add-ins, highlight a term from their document:

We’ve simplified the messaging we display in the ‘Assign’ pane of the QorusDocs Add-ins when a user tries to create an assignment in a document that is on their local desktop or in a location that others can’t access:
