Pursuits are collaborative workspaces where your team members can come together and collaborate on documents related to a strategic proposal, an RFx response, or any other business critical document you need to collaborate with coworkers on.
You can view the progress of assignments, see who is working on which documents, and statistics about customer engagement with shared content.
This article will cover:
1. Navigating to the Pursuit workspace
-
On the Home page of QorusDocs Hub
If it’s not the first thing you see as you visit the Home page in Hub Central, click on the ‘Recent Pursuits’ tab.
You will find a list of all the recent Pursuits across your hub that you have access to, along with additional information stored in columns around things like: Due Date, Assignments, Owner and Pursuit Types etc.
To find your Pursuit, you can browse through the list, then click on the Pursuit title to access it.
To find your Pursuit even faster, you can sort the relevant columns, or use the Search bar if you know the Pursuit title or owner.
-
By selecting the Pursuit Type
In the left nav, click on the Pursuits menu, then on the Pursuit Type your Pursuit belongs to.
In our example below, we’re looking for a Pursuit that belongs to the ‘RFP Response 2’ Pursuit Type. Since this is configurable, your list of available Pursuit Types might be quite different to the ones we have listed in the screenshot below.
To find the Pursuit you’re looking for, you can browse through the list, or use the search box to search for it, and then click on the Pursuit title to access it.
You can learn more about how to configure Pursuit Types here, and how to control the list of Pursuit Types visible in the left nav here.
-
In the QorusDocs Add-Ins
If you have a Pursuit document open in any of your Office Apps, you can access and open the Pursuit Workspace from your QorusDocs Add-in.
In the top nav of your QorusDocs Add-In, simply click on Pursuit and that will show you the ‘Current’ Pursuit you’re in:
If you happen to be in a different document that is not associated with a Pursuit, you can also click on ‘Pursuit’ in the top nav, and then click on ‘Recent’ to browse your 10 most recent Pursuits.
Once you’ve located the Pursuit you need, click on the ‘open in a new window’ icon and that will take you straight to the Pursuit workspace in your web browser:
