As a QorusDocs Administrator, the Hub Management section under Settings in QorusDocs Hub Central gives you control over key configuration areas that affect how users interact with the platform. From branding to user access and integrations, this is where you tailor the QorusDocs experience to meet the needs of your organization.
This article will guide you through the Hub Management Settings.
Accessing Hub Management
To access the Hub Management settings:
- In QorusDocs Hub Central > Click on the gear icon (Settings) on the left sidebar.
- Under Settings, select Hub Management.
Hub Management Settings
The following settings available under Settings > Hub Management > Settings are explained below:
Custom Support URL
In QorusDocs, the Custom Support URL option found in Hub Management Settings allows organizations to personalize the user support experience.
This setting is optional and, by default, users who click the Help icon in either QorusDocs Add-ins or Hub Central are taken to the official QorusDocs Help Center, where they can access product guides and resources. If your organization maintains its own support site or internal help portal, you can enter its URL here so that users are redirected to your preferred support destination instead.
This is particularly useful for organizations with custom processes or additional documentation. If the Custom Support URL field is left blank, QorusDocs will continue to direct users to the standard QorusDocs Help Center for assistance.
Default Pursuit Type
In QorusDocs, the Default Pursuit Type setting within Hub Management Settings is required only if your organization uses a custom integration via the QorusDocs API or has connected a CRM system. This setting determines which Pursuit Type will be automatically applied for all API-driven operations and CRM integrations, streamlining the creation and management of Pursuits that originate from external systems. Only Pursuit Types that either have no connector or are configured with a SharePoint-based location are eligible for selection as the default.
Include Custom Privacy Policy
In QorusDocs, the ‘Include Custom Privacy Policy’ option within Hub Management Settings is an optional feature that enables your organization to display a link to your company’s privacy policy directly within the QorusDocs interface.
By entering the full URL of your privacy policy (such as https://www.qorusdocs.com/privacy-policy) users will see this link prominently, ensuring easy access to your organization’s privacy information.
If this field is left blank, no custom privacy policy link will be shown in the QorusDocs interface.
Show Document Title as Primary Display Option
In QorusDocs, the ‘Show Document Title as Primary Display Option’ setting in Hub Management Settings is optional.
When enabled, document titles will appear as the main label in search results and content lists, instead of filenames. This is particularly helpful if your users depend on clear, descriptive document titles to quickly identify the right files. If you choose not to enable this option, filenames will continue to be used as the primary display label throughout QorusDocs.
Set Default Page for Word Document Previews:
Choose how Word document previews open by default:
-
Page View: Displays a high-definition full-page preview
Set Page View as the default if users are mostly viewing and inserting whole documents.
-
Web View: Displays document previews as HTML (similar to Web View in Word)
Web View is great for highlighting and inserting a portion of the document into a destination document while retaining styles and formatting.

Store Smart Layout Pursuit Selections
This option determines how Smart Layout choices are saved and shared.
- Per Pursuit, shared among all Pursuit members (default):
- Smart Layout choices apply across all team members in the same Pursuit. If one user changes the way Smart Layouts are displayed, this will change it for all users.
- Benefit: Promotes consistency for team collaboration.
- Per user to prevent overwrites:
- Each user’s Smart Layout settings are independent. In other words, each user can set their own Smart Layout viewing choices.
- Benefit: Prevents overwriting by others; ideal for safeguarding individual preferences.

QPilot Custom Instruction
In QorusDocs, the QPilot Custom Instruction setting within Hub Management Settings is optional and allows you to provide global custom instructions for all QPilot-enabled content sources. By entering specific guidance here, you create a precise blueprint for the QPilot AI, ensuring that all AI-generated text across your hub aligns with your company’s tone, policies, and strategic requirements.
For example, you might instruct QPilot to “Ensure responses are formal and avoid casual language. Reference company guidelines where applicable.” This helps maintain consistency, supports the creation of high-quality proposals and RFP responses, and increases the likelihood that your content meets internal standards and improves your chances of success.
