Configuring Hub Management Permissions

Each user role comes with a predefined default set of permission levels that give them access certain features in QorusDocs.

As an Admin, you can use the Permissions tab in Hub Management to enable or disable access to a feature, and it will impact all user roles where this feature is enabled by default.

In this article we will explain:

  1. How to Access Hub Management Permissions
  2. Understanding the Permissions Matrix
  3. Key Actions Explained
  4. Roles Overview

  1. In the left menu, click Settings (gear icon).
  2. Select Hub Management.

Understanding the Permissions Matrix

The matrix lists actions (rows) down the left side and roles (columns) across the top.

Actions / Capabilities (Rows): These are specific things a user might do in QorusDocs, such as creating assignments, managing pursuits, or sharing documents.

Roles (Columns): These are predefined QorusDocs roles (Admin + QPilot, Admin, Designer + QPilot, Designer, Standard + QPilot, Standard, Guest).

Symbols inside the matrix:

● (dot) = Permission granted (this role can perform the action).

× (cross) = Permission denied (this role cannot perform the action).
