Where is QPilot available?
QPilot is available as an AI Assistant in the QorusDocs Add-ins for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as in QorusDocs on the web.
How do I access QorusDocs QPilot?
In your QorusDocs Add-ins, click on the QPilot icon that appears on the top right of the Add-in panel:
In your QorusDocs Hub (on the web), click on 'QPilot' in the left nav to access QPilot:
You can also access QPilot directly within the Preview window:
What can I do with QPilot?
You can do a lot with QPilot! As an AI Assistant, you can prompt QPilot to perform a wide variety of tasks, including analyzing, summarizing, composing, refining and translating content, all while controlling the context QPilot uses: the current document you're working on, a specific file in your content library, one or more content sources, or documents you've received from a client and that you've uploaded to a Pursuit. You can learn more about controlling the context of your QPilot interactions here.
All your QPilot sessions are saved under ‘History’ and can be accessed across multiple locations, ensuring continuity across apps. This means that you can for example start a session in Word and ask QPilot to help you analyze or summarize a document you currently have open and then switch to Outlook and insert the response you received into an email directly from the QPilot History panel.
In addition to prompting QPilot (by physically typing a prompt into the prompt box), Admin users can configure and save pre-written prompts as 'Smart Skills', that then appear as shortcuts in QorusDocs. Clicking on a Smart Skill executes the underlying prompt in one click. You can learn more about Smart Skills here.

If you don't see the QPilot icon or menu in your QorusDocs, it could be due to any one of the following reasons: • your organization has not purchased a subscription that includes QPilot • your organization has not yet activated and configured QPilot • you have not been assigned a license which grants you access to QPilot Please contact your QorusDocs Admin to confirm whether you should be able to access QPilot. |
Plus, QPilot lets you embed powerful custom prompts into your PowerPoint and Word templates. When you use an AI powered template, entire sections of your document and slides in your presentation can be AI-generated in seconds. You can learn more about AI templates here.
Can you provide some examples of practical use cases for QPilot?
You can use QPilot to help you draft proposal sections, analyze and extract RFP requirements, compose Executive Summaries, optimize responses, perform quality checks, improve your writing and much more.
