General-Use Outline for QPilot
1. RFP Batch Received
When an RFP batch is received, start by reviewing the RFP overview to understand the requirements, scope, and objectives. Conduct a bid/no-bid evaluation to determine if the RFP aligns with your firm’s strategic goals, available resources, and potential return on investment.
2. Email
Next, send an email to the relevant team members, informing them about the RFP. This email should summarize the key details of the RFP and the outcome of the bid/no-bid evaluation, ensuring everyone is aligned and aware of the next steps.
3. Response
Begin crafting your response by addressing any specific questions or requirements outlined in the RFP. Identify and assign a lead attorney or subject matter expert to oversee the response process. Draft a compelling cover letter that highlights your firm’s qualifications and proposed approach. Finally, review the entire response for any potential issues or red flags that could impact the bid.
4. Pitch
Once the response is complete, summarize the key points to create a cohesive pitch. Refine and tailor the pitch based on feedback and strategic insights to ensure it resonates with the client, presenting your firm as the best choice for the project.
