We know that buying a new solution can be risky. The uncertainty of whether a product will work or not, or be suitable for your business' needs, can make moving forward uncomfortable. There is pain, effort and costs involved in changing software, so we'd like you to be as confident in QorusDocs' solutions for you, as you possibly can be, before signing up.
QorusDocs offers a fully-featured trial environment that you and your team can use to test the features and functions of our software. This is a production environment, which means that it is exactly what you'll receive when you buy our solution. The environment is packed with content and templates to jumpstart your experience.
To help you navigate through all the features, without needing training, we have a "Trial Guide" that is baked into the environment. This guide simply tells you what to click and when, to navigate through our five most common use cases:
1. Content Management
QorusDocs will help your organization build a single center of content to access, search, manage, and update your corporate collateral, all using the QorusDocs platform, powered by the very best Microsoft technologies. All of this great content is easily accessed via the QorusDocs add-ins, right from within your familiar Microsoft Office applications.
The trial will help you understand more about how QorusDocs enables content curation, automated reviews and timely notifications to keep your content up to date and accessible.
2. Search and Filter Content
The trial will help showcase how QorusDocs leverages Microsoft's powerful search capabilities, through the standard search control available from within all the Microsoft Office products. It will also help you understand how your organization's taxonomy can be baked into the search, creating an easy-to-use, truly integrated experience, and continuously refined based on your users' search habits.
3. Document Generation
QorusDocs proposal automation software gets smarter with each use, suggesting content that produces a higher win rate so you can feel confident you’re creating an optimized proposal each and every time. Instantly insert content into your document and have a completed draft in minutes.
The trial will walk you through utilizing a template to create a fully customized proposal or pitch in seconds.
4. Proposal Management
QorusDocs unites your team members with a centralized content hub, slashing the manual hours your team is spending creating proposals while reducing errors and maintaining consistency. Easily collaborate with experts to ensure accuracy and completeness no matter where you’re working.
You can use the trial to collaborate with your other colleagues to give you a real sense of how you'll use QorusDocs to work together.
5. Proposal Harvesting and Storage
QorusDocs enables content curation on-the-fly while building pitches and proposals. Our approach is to create reusable blocks of content that can be applied to all pitches versus searching through past proposal documents. Past proposals may contain outdated information and are generally large and cumbersome to navigate through.
In the trial, you'll explore our Clip functionality to find out how to grow your reusable content base.
- In order to trial the full functionality, all trial participants need to install the QorusDocs add-in for Word. Optionally, you can also install the add-ins for Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. While these aren't utilized in the trial scenarios, they will be fully functional if you'd like to play around. Here's a quick guide on how to install the add-ins. (You'll install it from within your Office Apps - which is number 2 in the article.)
- Throughout the trial guide, we'll refer you to 2-3 minute short video clips from our QorusDocs Academy, to explain basics that will help you progress through the scenarios. We'll send you an invite to the Academy prior to the trial starting. You'll need to follow the link in the invite, to sign-up for access. This is a great way to get a taste of the kind of high-quality resources at your disposal, should you choose QorusDocs as your vendor.
Once your Word add-in is installed, you'll be added to the trial environment and we'll host a kick-off meeting (30 minutes) to show you around. As you progress on your own, through the scenarios, we'll meet up with you when you need it, to answer any questions you have or show you any other functionality that you'd like to see, that may not be in the trial guide.
You are free to upload your own content into the environment, and make edits to the existing content. (You will never share an environment with another customer and we will make sure to clean out and destroy all of your documents, edits, etc. before using the environment for another group.)
Typically, we recommend trialing the product for 1-2 weeks. If you need to extend the duration, you can arrange to do so with your Account Executive, provided that the environment is available.
