Your Implementation Consultant (IC) will kick off with you by meeting with your core team. The core team should be comprised of key stakeholders who will be responsible for making decisions about how the QorusDocs product should be configured for all your end users.
Your core team will also be responsible for making decisions around configurations to the QorusDocs product and the underlying SharePoint and Team environments. QorusDocs will provide guidance, training and collateral to ensure that you are well prepared and educated going forward, in order to continue to tweak it independently, as your organization grows with QorusDocs.
Typically, we see the best results when the core team represents one or more people, responsible for the following areas:
Project Management
We know that your core team will all have existing day jobs that need to continue, alongside the implementation of QorusDocs. We’ve seen great success when a Project Manager is brought in to work closely with our IC, to assist the core team with the implementation activities. It really helps them stay on task and hit deadlines.
Content Management
Effective content is key to your success. Delivering that content to your end users, so that they can find what they need quickly, in an intuitive, simple way, will be instrumental to organization-wide adoption. Therefore, the way in which your content is created, categorized, managed and presented, is important. A carefully thought-through approach to content creation and management is also crucial when it comes to leveraging the extensive automation capabilities that QorusDocs has to offer.
Your IC will advise your Content Management representative, combining best practice principles, extensive experience from what has worked at other companies, and a thorough understanding of how your organization works, to build a solid framework, tailored to your needs.
Proposal / Pitch Management
QorusDocs has an impressive set of easy-to-use proposal/pitch template building capabilities. To harness the power of these features, your IC will work with the core team members, who know your proposal process and its pain points the best. Collaboratively, we will design templates that support and expedite the proposal process. You’ll be shown how to transform your current pitches, proposals, RFP responses into QorusDocs templates in Word and / or PowerPoint, complete with your exact brand styles, layouts, and formats.
Our objective is to ensure your end users have access to a set of templates that, when used, result in high-quality, consistently formatted, proposal-ready documents.
Technical Support
QorusDocs is designed to fit easily and seamlessly into your Microsoft O365 environment, with SharePoint Online (SPO) being configured as the “source” for content. Using SPO, you can leverage off the built-in security features, to secure content and pitches, if necessary. Out-of-the-box, SPO also offers a host of other neat features that may be used to support the newly established content and pitch processes, needed by QorusDocs. To ensure that these features are configured correctly, the your IC will need to work with a technical representative, at your firm, who has a basic understanding of SPO.
