Adding Business Rules to Documents with Page Breaks

Review a limitation with Page Breaks in Microsoft documents and how it effects the application of new Business Rules from QorusDocs.

When an end-user is applying a Business Rule to a document, the rule may be applied across multiple paragraphs and/or pages.

However, if the content selected in the document contains a Page Break, the Business Rule will only be applied to the content prior to the Page Break.

To continue applying the Business Rule to the remainder of the content, the end-user may:

1. Continue re-applying the Business Rule in-between Page Breaks

2. Replace Page Breaks with Section Breaks, which do not stop the application of a Business Rule
