How We Keep Our Pitch Content Fresh (Without the Headaches)

Shared by Jennifer Manton – Chief Marketing & BD Officer, Kramer Levin

Quick story from our team that might be helpful if you're drowning in content updates like we were.

Our aha moment:
We used to have a ton of content—bios, practice descriptions, matter lists—that needed updating across systems. It took forever, and there was always a risk of using something outdated in a pitch.

We built a workflow where updates to bios and practice areas happen once in our website CMS. From there, the updates flow into QorusDocs, and our team can pull the most current content into pitches, RFPs, and capability decks—without hunting it down.

Here’s how we pulled it off:

  1. Connected our CMS to QorusDocs so updates flow automatically.
  2. Made QorusDocs the go-to place for pitch content, synced with our CRM.
  3. Built templates that keep everything branded and clean—no more manual formatting.

What changed:

  • Updating content is 30% faster, and way more reliable.
  • Our team is turning around more pitches (~25% more) without burning out.
  • Designers are freed up—they’re not stuck reformatting decks all day. We’ve got one central hub for content, so everyone’s on the same page.

What I’d tell someone starting out:

  1. Make QorusDocs your source of truth—don’t keep content scattered.
  2. Sync your CMS and CRM so updates happen automatically.
  3. Use templates! They save your team and your design crew a lot of time.

This has been a big win for us—it’s simple, it works, and it scales. Hope this gives you a few ideas!
