Background
Did you know? QorusDocs will be five years old this year. And so will the Help Center.
A lot has changed since the early days, when things were new and there were only a handful of features.
Today, QorusDocs has an impressively rich and comprehensive feature set. The way we onboard new users and engage our customers has become so much more streamlined and sophisticated. It makes sense that the Help Center, which now counts over 100 published articles, should evolve too – so that it feels like a natural extension to the best parts of our user journey and you can find what you need quickly and easily.
What’s happening
Over the next two weeks, we will be re-organizing the QorusDocs Help Center, to better align our knowledge base along user roles, in a similar way to how courses are organized in the QorusDocs Academy.
This means that the current Help Center categories of “Getting Started” and “How-To’s” are going to be split into the following categories going forward:
1. Launch
“Getting Started” is being renamed as “Launch”, in line with the QorusDocs Academy.
2. Action Your Content
Here you’ll find everything you need to know about locating and working with content and templates. It will be broken up into the following sections:
- Find Winning Content
- Efficiently Use Content
- Create Personalized Documents Faster
- Clip and Refresh Existing Content
- FAQs
3. Streamline Collaboration
If you think of “Action Your Content” as part one of a User Guide, this is part two. Here, we’ll have step by step instructions for all of the following:
- Manage Opportunities in Pursuits
- AI-enabled Auto Answer
- Collaborate with Assignments
- Share and Track for Smarter Follow Up Conversations
4. Template Designer Guide
As you’ve probably guessed, this one is for those who design smart automated Word and PowerPoint templates. Here, we’ll cover:
- Smart Fields
- Smart Rules
- Form Builder
5. Admin Guide
Here we’ll group articles for all our users belonging to the QorusDocs Admin user role under the following headers:
- Manage Content Sources
- Use Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Configure QorusDocs
- Pursuit Types
- Reporting
- User Management
- CRM Integrations
We hope you’ll find this new structure more intuitive and easier to navigate.
If you have bookmarked any articles in your web browser, or included links in any materials you use, don’t worry – those links will still work even after the articles are moved to their new home.
Going forward, you should also know that to access all the great self-help materials in the Help Center, you’ll need to be signed in to the QorusDocs application first. Otherwise, you’ll only see a small subset of the content.
